Our G-1 Flight Jacket pays tribute to the original Flying Tigers, the "legendary" American Volunteer Group (AVG) assigned to the Pacific theatre assist and protect China from Japanese invasion during World War II. During their brief 1941-1942 service history, the Flying Tigers were able to destroy 299 enemy planes - more than any other fighter group. Since the AVG was a volunteer group, both A-2 and G-1 jackets were utilized.
