During WWII, a new, practical jacket was designed for the American tank crews in Europe. It became popular with Air Force pilots because it was lightweight but offered three season warmth due to the dark olive wool blend blanket lining. This style has recently been redesigned for a more correct shoulder fit. In WWII British Khaki color.
