Incredibly detailed, Buffalo Soldiers Shield Cap pays tribute to the African American post Civil War Heroes who served on the western frontier building forts, roads, telegraph lines, etc. They also protected the railroad crews, settlers and cattle drives, and escorted stagecoaches and rail cars. These soldiers were instrumental in helping to expand the western frontier from Montana to Texas.
